We went to Ash Vale to visit Nan today - she's your great-grandmother. She already has a few great-grandchildren but - between you and me - I reckon you're going to be the favourite! Grandma Jandma came as well, but she's pretty obsessed with you as well. Nan gave us some money to save away for you, so you can put it towards something useful when you're older. Right now your only interests are eating and sleeping, so you probably wouldn't invest it very well.

I told her we'll drop by again in a few weeks so she can see you again and I can paint her living room. If it looks a bit crap by the time you read this, let's just say it was the other guy's work.

Nan

I'm surprised how well you travel in a car. We're using your mum's old Suzuki at the moment, as she'd managed to flood my car a few weeks before you were born by parking it next to the Thames at high tide. It's a bit of a squeeze with all three of us and the pushchair, but we're making it work.

Your mum ran out of painkillers yesterday, so she's not feeling that great. She went to bed when we got home, but I'll go and check up on her when I'm done writing this.

Dad.
